How much does it cost to play golf in Scottsdale, AZ?  Great question.  If only there were an easy answer to that question. 

The price to play golf in Scottsdale and Phoenix, AZ can very drastically depending on what time of the year it is and what course one is playing. Choosing a course based on how much it cost to golf in Scottsdale can be a very tricky process.  It is important to ask oneself these questions when considering how much to pay for golf. 

What time of the year is it?  Typically golf courses will raise, and lower their rates several times throughout the year.  Courses will raise rates as demand picks up.  Based on all of the world class events including the Barrett Jackson auto auction, Arabian Horse Show, Wasted Management PGA Tour event, and MLB Spring Training Cactus league demand begins to spike in October. 

Courses in Scottsdale and Phoenix, Arizona typically raise green fees in October, December, and Feburary.  The price to golf will remain more expensive until late April when courses will lower rates. 

Golf does tend to be more expensive during peak season.  But remember during the months of December, January, February, March, and April one doesn’t have to pay more than $100 to play golf.
